Ready Ethereum wallet lets you connect to desktop Dapps that support WalletConnect, a standard for linking mobile wallets with Dapps.
You can browse supported Dapps at explorer.walletconnect.com
How to connect
- Open the Dapp on your desktop and look for a Connect wallet button
- Choose WalletConnect - a QR code will appear
- Open your Ready app and tap Scan on the Home screen
- Scan the QR code and authorize the connection in your wallet
Once connected, you will interact with the Dapp UI, but use the wallet to approve transactions.
About transaction flow and trusted sessions
When making a transaction through WalletConnect:
- Each transaction has two steps: a pre-authorization (not required for ETH) and the transaction itself
- You can choose to start a Trusted session after the first action. This helps reduce gas fees for future steps that do not need guardian approval. Without a trusted session, both pre-authorization and the transaction will require approval from at least half of your guardians
