We are closing a group of cards after changes with our card provider.
This affects users whose cards showed activity that our provider can no longer support, including high volumes of foreign exchange or cross-currency card transactions outside the European Economic Area. As a result, these cards will be deactivated and can no longer be used for new payments.
Your account and assets are safe. Your account itself is not being closed because of this card change. This article only relates to the affected card product.
When will my card stop working?
Affected cards are scheduled to stop working from 16 June 2026.
After your card is closed, you will no longer be able to use it for:
- online purchases
- in-store purchases
- subscriptions linked to the card
- ATM withdrawals
You should update any recurring payments or subscriptions that use this card.
Why is this happening?
Our card provider has decided that it can no longer support the activity on this group of cards. The main issue is a high level of foreign exchange card usage, which creates costs and risk for the card program.
We understand this may be frustrating. We are making this change to keep the rest of our card program stable and available.
Will I receive a refund?
If you paid for an annual metal subscription, we will refund the remainder of your subscription automatically. You do not need to request the refund manually.
Lite users will receive a refund of shipping fees if they paid within the last year.
Do I need to contact support?
You do not need to contact support. No action is needed to request the refund. If you are eligible, we will calculate it automatically. Payment will be made within the following 10 business days.
How to withdraw funds?
If you wish to withdraw funds, you have two options:
- Send to another starknet address
- Go to the browser inside the Ready app and use https://layerswap.io/app to send funds to any other chain
