The Ready Card lets you spend the money in your Ready account on everyday purchases without needing to transfer it to a bank account first.
Your balance is displayed in USD in the Ready app, making it easy to manage your money and make payments.
What is the Ready Card?
The Ready Card is a virtual Visa Platinum credit card connected to your Ready account.
You can use it anywhere Visa is accepted, including for online purchases and in-store payments through Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Ready uses a self-custodial account, meaning you remain in control of your digital dollars and authorize their use for card payments.
How do I get a Ready Card?
You can apply for a Ready Card directly through the Ready app, provided the card is available in your location.
To get started:
- Open the Ready app.
- Swipe down to the Card section.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to apply.
- Complete identity verification (KYC), if you haven't already.
- Once approved, you can create your virtual card.
Please note: You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
Where is the Ready Card available?
Ready Cards are currently available in a very limited number of countries.
We're actively working on expanding our coverage to bring Ready Cards to more countries and regions.
If the Ready Card isn't available in your location yet, stay tuned! We'll share updates as new locations become supported.
What currency does the Ready Card use?
Your Ready Card uses the digital dollars held in your Ready account.
Your available balance is displayed in USD in the app, so you don't need to manually convert cryptocurrency before making a purchase.
What are the Ready Card spending limits?
Spending limits are determined individually based on several factors, including your account information and spending activity.
Most users won't encounter these limits during regular use. However, unusually large purchases or spending patterns that differ significantly from your account information may result in additional restrictions.
Can I use Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Yes! You can add your virtual Ready Card to Google Pay to make payments online and in stores that accept these payment methods.
Can I get a physical card?
Currently, Ready Cards are available in virtual form only.
We're working on introducing physical cards in the future, but don't have an availability date to share yet.
Can I withdraw cash from an ATM using my Ready Card?
ATM cash withdrawals are not currently supported with the Ready Card.
You can use your virtual Ready Card for online purchases and supported contactless payments through Google Pay.
Does using my Ready Card support my community?
Yes! When you use your Ready Community Card, a portion of the revenue generated by the card program goes toward supporting your chosen community.
Supporting your community doesn't add an extra charge to your purchases.
You can also earn points through eligible purchases and use them to unlock rewards and experiences offered by your community.
Available rewards and benefits may vary depending on the community and ongoing promotions.
What happened to the previous Ready Cards?
The previous Ready Mastercard program has been discontinued. Those cards can no longer be used or reactivated.
The new Ready Card operates through our updated Visa card program.
