You can send money from your Ready account to another crypto wallet or exchange that supports USDC on the Base network.
How to send money
- Open the Ready app.
- Tap Send.
- Select an existing contact or enter the recipient's wallet address.
- Enter the amount you want to send.
- Review the transaction details carefully.
- Confirm the transaction.
Before you send
Make sure the recipient supports the Base network.
Ready currently only supports outgoing transfers on Base. You cannot send money directly using other networks.
Even if a wallet address looks compatible, the receiving platform must support deposits on Base. Sending money to an unsupported network may result in permanent loss of funds.
Make sure the recipient accepts USDC.
Although your balance is displayed as USD in Ready, the money you send to external wallets is transferred as USDC on Base.
If you're sending to an exchange, make sure it accepts USDC deposits on the Base network.
Always double-check the recipient's address.
Before confirming a transfer, carefully verify the destination address.
Address poisoning is a common scam where fraudsters use wallet addresses that look similar to legitimate ones to trick you into sending money to the wrong recipient.
Always check the address carefully, including characters at the beginning, middle, and end, before confirming your transfer.
Transactions cannot be reversed once completed.
