Ready X is Ready’s self-custody wallet for Starknet. You can use it to send and receive assets, swap tokens, stake, manage DeFi positions, and bridge assets to other networks.
You can move your assets to Ready X either before or after the Ready app moves to Base. Moving them before the migration is the fastest and easiest option.
Before you start
Download Ready X and create an account:

We recommend creating a smart account using your email address for additional protection.
If you need to create a new Ready X account, you must use a different email address from the one linked to your Ready account. You can also use a suffixed email address if your email provider supports it, for example:
Emails sent to this address will still arrive in your usual Gmail inbox.
Ready X is secured by a seed phrase. Write it down, store it somewhere safe, and never share it with anyone. Ready will never ask for your seed phrase.
Move your assets before the Ready app moves to Base
Before the migration, you can send your assets to Ready X using the regular Send function in the Ready app.
- Open Ready X and copy your Starknet account address.
- Open the Ready app.
- Select the asset you want to move.
- Tap Send.
- Paste your Ready X Starknet address.
- Double-check that the address is correct.
- Choose the amount you want to send.
- Review and confirm the transaction.
- Repeat these steps for each asset you hold.
Your assets will appear in Ready X once the transactions are confirmed on Starknet.
Make sure you send the assets to your Starknet address in Ready X. Sending funds to an address on the wrong network may result in permanent loss.
Move your assets after the Ready app moves to Base
After the migration, the Ready app will no longer manage your Starknet account. Your assets will remain untouched on Starknet and under your control.
When you open the app, you will see the Your funds are safe screen.
You will have two options:
Send your tokens to Ready X
This is the recommended and simplest option for supported tokens.
- Tap Send to Ready X.
- When asked whether Ready X is installed, select Yes.
If you have not installed Ready X yet, select No, download the app, and create your Ready X account before continuing.
- Open Ready X and copy your Starknet account address.
- Return to the Ready app.
- Paste the address you copied from Ready X.
- Double-check that every character of the address matches.
- Select the assets you want to send.
- Tap Continue.
- Review and confirm the transfer.
Your selected tokens will be sent to your Ready X account.
Recover your full account in Ready X
Sending tokens does not transfer NFTs, DeFi positions, your existing Starknet account address, or its transaction history.
Select Recover on Ready X if you want to recover:
- NFTs.
- Staking, borrowing, or other DeFi positions.
- Your existing Starknet account address.
- Your account’s transaction history.
Full account recovery includes a mandatory seven-day security waiting period.
Once the recovery is complete, you will be able to manage the recovered Starknet account through Ready X.
Are my assets safe if I have not moved them yet?
Yes.
Your assets remain onchain on Starknet and under your control. However, moving them before the Ready app migrates to Base is faster and easier than accessing them afterwards.
