You may see Recover on the web if the Ready app can no longer access the Starknet keys needed to send or import the account, but you still have access to the email address linked to the account.
In this case:
- Tap Recover on the web in the Ready app.
- Open recovery.ready.co (available after Base update)
- Follow the instructions to begin onchain account recovery.
- Complete all required email verification steps.
- Wait for the mandatory seven-day security period.
- Return to the recovery website after the waiting period.
- Complete the recovery and regain access to the Starknet account.
Ready does not store the password you create during web recovery or the private key for the recovered account. We cannot access either of them or recover them for you. If you forget your password, you will need to repeat the web recovery process.
After recovery:
- If you only need to move transferable tokens, send them to your Ready X Starknet address.
- If you have NFTs, borrowing positions, STRK staking, or other non-transferable assets, follow the Import on Ready X process: to import the full account, export the private key, copy your account address, disable the Ready guardian, and import the account into Ready X using its public address and private key.
Do not use web recovery unless the Ready app directs you to it or the normal Send and Import options are unavailable.
What happens when I disable ready guardian?
Disabling ready guardian is permanent and cannot be undone. Once it is disabled, you will no longer be able to manage or send from the account through the Ready web app, and the account will no longer have Ready’s existing recovery protection. Your private key will become the only way to access the account, and an imported Ready X account cannot be backed up or protected with email-based 2FA. Save both your private key and public account address securely, then import the account into Ready X immediately. If you lose/forget your password after ready guardian is disabled but before the account is imported, you will permanently lose access to the account.
