FAQ: Why did I receive less cashback that what was mentioned in-app?
Cashback received can vary from what you see in-app for the following reasons:
- Cashback is calculated in USD but is distributed in STRK. The STRK / USD exchange rate could have changed from the time we calculated the payout to the time it was distributed
- Refunds: if you previously received cashback for a transaction that was later refunded, that cashback amount will be deducted during the next month
- Settlements: You transaction will only be eligible for cashback if it has settled fully onchain (that means your transaction has been accepted by the blockchain network). This can sometimes take more time than expected. It can happen that your payment goes through successfully with a merchant, but the transaction is settled on the blockchain days later.

How does the cashback program work?
Over a full year, you could earn up to $1,800 in STRK rewards:
- 3% cashback (on up to $5,000 spent each month)
- Maximum monthly rewards: $150 in STRK
- Maximum annual rewards: $1,800 in STRK
How does cashback get distributed?
Cashback will be credited to your account on the 15th of every month. Cashback calulcations are based on UTC time - time of the payment matters, closing of the period (for example April -> May) will change when it changes in UTC timezone.
Please note: The app will be showing estimates, the amounts are subject to change upon the validation in the end of the month.

Which spending categories qualify for cashback?
