Latest versions of Ready no longer require phone number verification when creating or securing your wallet.
Instead, Ready uses passkeys, which provide a more secure and privacy-friendly way to protect your account and authorize sensitive actions. You can switch to Passkeys in Settings > Account & Security.
Why we use passkeys
Passkeys help protect your wallet without requiring you to share your phone number.
They offer several benefits:
- Improved security against phishing and SIM swap attacks.
- Faster and simpler authentication.
- Better privacy, as your phone number is not required.
- A more seamless recovery experience across supported devices.
What personal information does Ready store?
Ready does not require or store your phone number for account verification.
To create and secure your wallet, Ready only requires the information necessary to provide the service, such as your registered email address for account-related notifications and recovery.
Your wallet remains self-custodial, and your private keys are never shared with Ready.
I'm having trouble using passkeys
If you're unable to use passkeys or are having trouble accessing your account, contact us at help@ready.co from your wallet's registered email address, and we'll help you recover access.
