If you see a token or NFT that you don't recognize, don't worry. This does not necessarily mean that your wallet has been compromised.
Some projects send unsolicited tokens or NFTs to large numbers of wallet addresses as part of marketing campaigns or scams. Anyone can send assets to a public Starknet address, and there is no way to block incoming tokens.
What should I do?
If you don't want to keep the token, you can send it to a burn address, such as:
0x0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
This permanently removes the token from your wallet.
Stay safe
If you receive an unfamiliar token or NFT:
- Do not interact with the token's smart contract, as it may be malicious.
- Do not visit any website displayed in the token or NFT image or metadata, as it may be a phishing website.
- If you're unsure whether a token is legitimate, it's safest to ignore it or send it to a burn address.
Receiving an unsolicited token does not give anyone access to your wallet or your funds.
