Ready has moved to Base, bringing a new experience focused on holding, sending, and spending digital dollars.
If you used Ready before the transition, your previous account on Starknet is no longer supported for everyday transactions in the Ready app. However, your existing assets remain on Starknet and can be accessed through Ready X.
Here's what you need to know.
What happened to my previous Ready account?
When Ready moved to Base, existing users received a new self-custodial account on the Base network.
Your previous Starknet account and its assets were not transferred automatically.
Your funds remain on Starknet, under your control. Because your account is self-custodial, Ready cannot move these assets on your behalf.
How do I access my previous assets?
You can access and manage your previous Starknet assets through Ready X, our dedicated wallet for Starknet.
To get started:
- Open the latest version of the Ready app.
- Tap Looking for your funds?
- Select See portfolio to view the assets remaining in your previous account.
- Choose one of the available options to move your assets to Ready X.
Option 1: Send to Ready X (recommended)
This is the simplest option for most users. It allows you to transfer supported assets to a Ready X account.
Some assets, such as NFTs and certain staking or borrowing positions, cannot be moved using this method.
Option 2: Import on Ready X
This option lets you import your entire previous account into Ready X, keeping its original address, transaction history, NFTs, and DeFi positions.
Importing your account involves additional security steps and permanently changes its recovery options, so please follow the instructions carefully.
For detailed instructions on both options, see our guide:
How to migrate funds to Ready X from a Ready mobile account on Starknet
Can I use my old assets in the new Ready app?
Your new Ready account operates on Base, while your previous assets remain on Starknet.
Moving your assets to Ready X does not automatically transfer them to your new Ready account.
If you'd like to use those funds in Ready, you'll need to transfer supported assets to Base separately.
I didn't have any assets in my previous account. Do I need to do anything?
No! If your previous Ready account doesn't contain any assets, there's nothing you need to move.
You can continue using your new Ready account as usual.
Is Ready still supporting Starknet?
Yes! While the Ready app now operates on Base, Ready X continues to support Starknet.
You can use Ready X to send and receive assets, swap tokens, manage staking and DeFi positions, and connect to supported applications.
Ready X is available on mobile and as a browser extension.
What happened to my previous Ready Card?
The previous Mastercard Ready Card program has been discontinued, and those cards can no longer be used.
A new Ready Card program is now available in a limited number of locations, with coverage expanding over time.
